Eco Detection wins prestigious award

Grey Innovation spin-out Eco Detection is honoured to be the recipient of the 2023 iAward for the best Sustainability and Environmental Solution at the Victorian state awards and runner up in the National competition announced on 31 August in Adelaide. The national winner, by the smallest of margins, was WA’s XIoT Health Tag for livestock health and welfare monitoring.

Eco Detection is humbled to be recognised in this prestigious forum and congratulates all the outstanding finalists, winners and merit recipients of the seven categories.

For the past 30 years, the AIIA has been driving an innovation nation through its iAwards program. The iAwards is Australia’s longest running and most broadly scoped innovation recognition program, promoting excellence in the Australian digital ecosystem from the likes of Google Maps, Atlassian, Wotif and WiseTech Global. This coveted award provides our company with significant exposure and further credibility with corporate and government customers who participate in the iAwards program.

AIIA CEO, Simon Bush, said: “We are incredibly proud to celebrate the 30th annual National iAwards this year. We saw a tremendous number of entrants, with the most submitted in the last five years and of an incredibly high calibre. This has certainly put the judges through their paces.”

Eco Detection is now eligible to compete in the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) 2023 Awards, which take place in early December.

The AIIA iAwards and the @AuManufacturing award received in July, rewards the dedicated engineering teams at Grey Innovation and Eco Detection and provides customers and stakeholders with further validation of our groundbreaking technology solution.

The iAwards are supported by partner sponsor the Department of Industry, Science and Resources.
