Matt McNamara joins the Grey Innovation Group Board

Grey Innovation is delighted to introduce Matt McNamara as our newest member of the Board. Matt is passionate about commercialising exciting new healthcare technologies that will make a difference to people’s lives all over the world.

Previously Matt was Chief Investment Officer at BioScience Managers (2005-2019),  responsible for deal flow management and evaluation, leading all investment recommendations and due diligence.

Matt has over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare & medical sciences sector. He founded BioBridge Australia, a biotechnology commercialisation advisory company, in 2003 and advised a number of private and public biotechnology/investment companies. He has served as SVP Business Development for eBioinformatics Inc and was CEO of SciCapital Pty Ltd, a Life Sciences Venture Capital fund.

Previously, Matt spent over a decade in the pharma industry working in Sales & Marketing with Merck & Co. and in General Management at Johnson and Johnson Medical Pty Ltd.

Matt received his BSc in Molecular Biology from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia and was a research assistant at this University during 1987. He completed his MBA at the University of Sydney. Matt completed the Australian Company Directors Course in 2014.

Matt is currently a Director of Adherium Limited ((ASX; ADR)
