Mr Greg Johansen, is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Marketing Institute. He has been a Board member and Managing Director of Medvet Science Pty Ltd for over ten years. Mr Johansen has also held positions on the Boards of other private companies. He was on the Board of The Cancer Council South Australia, and was the Chair of the Marketing Committee of the Cancer Council of South Australia. As Chair, Mr Johansen established Prostate SA and was appointed as a member of their Board.

Mr Johansen spent the first part of his career in management roles in Australian and American pharmaceutical and medical device industries, employed by organisations such Ciba Geigy, Astra Zeneca, US Surgical, Johnson & Johnson, Gribbles Pathology and the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science. Mr Johansen holds professional qualifications in Science, Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration. Mr Johansen has personally held Australian and International patents and is the inventor of a pathology management system that has significantly improved patient safety internationally and
is used daily by pathology groups worldwide.

Mr Johansen is the chair of the Intellectual Property Development Committee of the Central Adelaide Local Area Health Network which includes the Royal Adelaide Hospital, SA Pathology and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals; and has successfully managed the licensing of three major pieces of intellectual property, today valued at over a billion dollars.
