Grey Innovation recently sponsored a group of German students, including recent Grey Innovation exchange student, Michael Kämmerer to travel to India with fellow students of the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. The purpose of the ten day trip was for the students to obtain an engineering insight into companies in and around New Delhi; the students visited a number of companies, varying from Indo Autotech Pvt, who are a small scale supplier to the automotive industry, to SMS Siemag, where they could see first-hand what it was like for a German engineer to live and work in India. Apart from just touring the companies, they were also given the opportunity to meet with some of the company executives, as well as local politicians and members of the Industrial Association. They also had the opportunity to visit several schools as well as some major tourist attractions, such as the Taj Mahal.
Germany is a world leader in engineering and technology; Grey Innovation is pleased to be expanding its relationship with Germany through closer ties with the investment, research and business community.
