BIONIC EYE POISED FOR 2016 HUMAN TRIALS

The Bionic Eye project is set to perform their first human trial as soon as next year. The Monash Vision Group, a collaboration between Monash University, Alfred Health, MiniFAB and Grey Innovation, is building a bionic eye that bypasses the eye. This device has the potential to help many of the 500,000+ Australians are considered clinically blind.
