OPTALERT Dashboard Indicator

Between 20-30% of all road accidents involve driver fatigue – costing Australia around $3 billion per year, with fatigue related heavy vehicle accidents costing approximately $300 million per annum.

OPTALERT is the only fatigue monitoring system in the world that empowers drivers with real-time information about their level of alertness and their risk of a drowsy incident during a journey – Helping drivers stay aware, productive and safer by allowing them to take appropriate actions for their current alertness level. In large easy to read numbers on the OPTALERT Dashboard Indicator, a driver can see at a glance their own fluctuating alertness level displayed as a score from 0 to 10. The higher the OPTALERT Drowsiness Score, the drowsier the driver is.

The OPTALERT Dashboard Indicator also shows the potential LO, MED or HI RISK of an incident due to drowsiness at that time.
